In July, T/S Saeftinghe will come to Antwerp for The Tall Ships Races. From 11 to 14 July 2026, the city will once again become a meeting place for tall ships, crew, trainees and visitors. For us, Antwerp is a special moment. Saeftinghe will not be somewhere far away in the High North, but close to home, at the Napoleonkaai at the Willemdok, in the shadow of the MAS, Museum aan de Stroom. This gives family, friends, partners, former participants and new visitors the chance to come on board and see the ship up close.
During Tall Ships Antwerp, we organise several visiting moments on board. We work with fixed time slots. We would like to respect these time slots, because other activities, receptions and private events will also take place on Saeftinghe during the event.
By working with time slots, we can welcome everyone in a calm and proper way. This helps us avoid overcrowding on board and keeps the visit pleasant for visitors, crew and guests. You will have the chance to look around, ask questions and take in the atmosphere of Saeftinghe.
Drinks will be available on board at fair prices. So you do not have to leave immediately after your visit. Those who want to can stay a little longer, have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere around the ship.
