Networking under the Northern Lights, Entrepreneurs Kempen
Networking under the Northern Lights
This private networking voyage brings together entrepreneurs from the Kempen region in an environment that invites them to look beyond their daily business activities. Aboard *T/S Saeftinghe*, we combine professional encounters with an extraordinary journey through the fjords around Tromsø and the Lyngen Alps.
Throughout the voyage, there will be plenty of time to exchange professional knowledge and entrepreneurial experience. Participants will gain a better understanding of one another’s businesses, expertise and challenges, share insights and explore opportunities for future collaboration. Presenting and exchanging professional services will also form part of the journey—not through a traditional networking event, but through conversations around the table, shared activities and everyday life aboard.
At the same time, we find ourselves in one of Northern Norway’s most impressive natural environments. During this season, large shoals of herring migrate into the region, followed by orcas and humpback whales. We set out to find them in the fjords, although every wildlife encounter depends entirely on nature and can never be guaranteed.
As the limited daylight gives way to the long Arctic night, clear skies may offer us the opportunity to see the Northern Lights appear above snow-covered mountains and dark fjords. Our route takes us to remote anchorages, sheltered bays and small coastal communities, far removed from the traditional meeting room.
This is networking in a different form: small-scale, personal and surrounded by the raw beauty of the Arctic landscape. A journey during which entrepreneurs do more than simply make new contacts. They share knowledge, strengthen one another and create space for new ideas—truly **Out Of The Ordinary**.

Our programme during this voyage
Embarkation
T/S Saeftinghe* will be waiting for you in Tromsø, Norway. Embarkation is scheduled for Saturday 31 October 2026 from 17:00 onwards.
After being welcomed aboard, you will be introduced to the ship, the crew and the other participants. We will discuss the programme, the expected conditions and how we will create opportunities for professional exchange, collaboration and new business connections throughout this six-day voyage.
No previous sailing experience is required. An open mindset, genuine interest in other entrepreneurs and a willingness to share experiences and insights are far more important.
Our programme
From Tromsø we set course towards the spectacular Lyngen Alps and the surrounding islands of Northern Norway. We explore fjords, small coastal communities and remote anchorages where snow-covered mountains rise directly from the sea.
Professional encounters are woven into the natural rhythm of the voyage. There will be time aboard to introduce businesses and areas of expertise, share practical experience and discover concrete opportunities for collaboration. Informal conversations while sailing, shared meals and activities ashore allow participants to get to know one another on both a personal and professional level.
Along the way, we search for orcas and humpback whales and, once darkness falls, keep watch for the Northern Lights. When our route and the conditions permit, we visit sheltered bays, idyllic harbours and possibly a traditional Nordic sauna. The sauna is optional and available at an additional cost.
Wind, weather, wildlife and local conditions determine our exact route. This means the voyage does not follow a rigid daily schedule, leaving space for the opportunities that arise along the way, both in nature and between the entrepreneurs aboard.
